Batiancila: Recipient of Erasmus Mundus Scholarship

Mr. Marcial Reyes Batiancila, Library Director of San Sebastian College Recoletos de Cavite and currently the President of the PLAI - Southern Tagalog Region Librarians Council (STRLC) has been accepted to the International Master in Digital Library Learning (DILL) for the academic year 2009-2010 and 2010-2011. In addition, he has been selected to receive an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship grants of €21,000 per academic year for two academic years. DILL is a two-year Master Degree (120 ECTS credits) designed for information professionals who intend to work in the complex world of digital libraries. All students will follow a given structure, spending at least one semester at all three partner institutions: Oslo University College, Tallinn University, and Parma University.
