Dr. Lucy A. Tedd's Lecture on Software & Digital Libraries
Today's visiting lecturer is Dr.Lucy A. Tedd of Aberystwyth University. She is a lecturer at the Department of Information Studies of the said University and also editor of Program: electronic library and information systems. She has written several books, reports and papers about information technology systems in libraries and had lectured on these issues world-wide.
Dr. Tedd tackled the following topics: 1) General overview of digital libraries; 2) Software for digital libraries; 3) More details of some software packages; and 4)Choosing software for DL.
